'Swallow Flight' is part of a series of work inspired by the immersive experience of watching swallows over the banks of the river Ouse. These expressive abstract paintings evoke the feeling as much as the sight of these wonderful birds revelling in their own speed, carving paths against water and sky.



Winter Light 4 (tryptich)






These evocative abstract paintings capture an impression of shifting light in the landscape. From my 'Winter Light' series, inspired by walks along the riverside, this set of three paintings can be shown individually or together. Placed together you can follow the marks made by the artist, tracing both spontaneous and considered movements in the creative journey of this piece.
